Scott passed away at home peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, February 21st at the age of 72.

Scott is the loving husband of Sharon; devoted father of 2 sons, Daniel (Jennifer) Karas and Brian Karas and proud grandfather of Aidan Karas. Scott is further survived by his 4 siblings, Wayne (Bea) Karas, Patricia Ignatew, Brian (Mary) Karas and Ed (Liz) Karas, and his nieces and nephews. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Mary Karas.

Scott served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a CPA and throughout his career worked both an as auditor for the Federal Government and as an accountant for various small businesses. He loved to cook and was an avid reader of history, politics and religion. Scott was also a sports fan of the Chicago Bears and Milwaukee Brewers.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 9:30 am until the time of the 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1755 N. Calhoun Drive, Brookfield. A private interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, Oak Creek, WI.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Scott’s name may be made to the ALS Association Wisconsin Chapter, 3333 N. Mayfair Road, Suite 104, Wauwatosa, WI 53222, http://www.alsawi.org/donate.
