Stephanie (Nelson) Buchmann

Entered into God’s loving arms, surrounded by her family, on Friday, January 1, 2021 at the age of 59 after a brief but significant battle with cancer. Wife of Kyle Buchmann for 31 years. Cherished daughter of Roberta and the late Eugene Nelson Sr. Loving daughter-in-law of Beverly Buchmann. Adored sister of Gene (Barbara) Nelson, Jr., Stephen (Sally Reid) Nelson, Roberta (Rich) Dollhopf, and Barbara Nelson. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and her yellow lab Luke (Skywalker).

Stephanie was a graduate of Brookfield East High School and Mount Mary University.  She was the Marketing Manager at Elliott’s Ace Hardware for over 40 years. Her dedication, hard work, creativity, friendship, and humor will be forever missed.

Stephanie’s greatest passion was her sports teams which include the Blackhawks, Brewers and Bucks. She especially enjoyed going to Admirals games with her best friend Cathy K.

We would like to thank the staff at CFAC 8th floor at Froedtert Hospital and the Horizon Hospice caregivers for their compassionate treatment at the end of Stephanie’s life.

A private memorial mass and Christian burial will be held when family can be together.
