Todd was the only child of Ralph and Joy Hencsik. He attended Wisconsin Lutheran High School. After high school, he attended UW Oshkosh, UW Milwaukee and Cardinal Stritch and earned his BA in Education, MA in Education Leadership and obtained his Superintendent Certification along with playing basketball at UW Oshkosh. Throughout his vast career as an educator, he was a teacher at Milwaukee Metropolitan High School and Bradley Tech, Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Waukesha West High School, Principal at Hononegah Community High School and Campbellsport High School and was currently serving as Superintendent for the Gillett School District. His love of children, teaching and being a phenomenal athlete, himself made Todd a dedicated mentor and coach. He coached baseball, basketball, football and track at a number of high schools including Brookfield East, West Allis Central High School and Bradley Tech.

Todd will be remembered for his intelligence, quick wit, and how easy and natural everything came to him. He was an avid bowler, golfer, softball player and fan of all Wisconsin sports teams. Todd’s larger than life stature was small in comparison to his huge heart. He was always the life of the party and was able to light up any room he entered. He radiated positivity and was known for his kindness, generosity, easy going nature and nonjudgmental advice. His genuine happy go lucky attitude coupled with his humor will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Above all, his greatest accomplishment was being a proud and fun-loving dad to his children Parker and Charli.
