Violet M. Delaney

Violet Marie Delaney, age 93, of Elm Grove, entered into eternal rest on June 18, 2019.

She is survived by her sons Jeffery (Linda) Delaney and Duane Delaney; grandchildren Devin (Tiffany) Delaney, Michael (Christine) Delaney, Patrick Delaney, Jason (Stephanie) Kosterman, Dennis Delaney, and Paul Delaney; great grandchildren Reagan Delaney, Ryder Kosterman, and Hunter Kosterman; and brother Glen (Dolores) Cisler.

Violet is reunited in Heaven with her husband of 57 years, Lee Delaney; and her sister Marlene Turner.

She was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, where she earned a degree in education. She was a member of Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church and the Elm Grove Women’s Club for many years. She loved her garden, and especially enjoyed singing for the annual Women’s Club Christmas concert.

Above all, however, Violet will be remembered for always being kind and understanding in every situation.

Services for Violet will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Becker Ritter Funeral Home (14075 W North Ave, Brookfield). A visitation for family and friends will take place from 4:00pm until time of service at 6:00pm. A private interment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
