Of Milwaukee passed away at his home on Sat., Nov. 11, 2017 at the age of 86. He was born in Sturgeon Bay, WI, the son of Fred and Margaret Schroeder. Wayne married the love of his life Elaine Repinski on Jan. 27, 1962. He was a proud United States Marine and member of the RC modelers, Circus Model Builders Club and a leader in the Boy Scouts of America; where he received the Silver Beaver Award. Most of all he loved spending time with family. Wayne will be sadly missed by his wife, Elaine of 55 years; children, Michelle Gnadt, Renee (Tony) Balistreri, Mark (Sarah) Schroeder, Steve, Mike, Jennifer and Cindy; grandchildren, Ryan (Angel) Schroeder, Danny (Amy) Gnadt, Stephanie (Rob) Gnadt-Stuart and Michael Balistreri; great-grandson, Philip Gnadt.   He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. A visitation for Wayne will be held on Sat. , Nov. 18, 2017 from 1:00PM until the time of the 3:00PM Funeral Service at the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Wayne’s name to the Wounded Warriors or The Honor Flight would be appreciated.
