Yi "Karen" Wang

Passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the age of 50. Cherished wife of Yue "Jack" Chen of 29 years. Loving and devoted mom of Joyce and Alan. Beloved sister of Kai and Ming Wang. Treasured daughter of Long-Yun Shi and the late Mou-Xi Wang. Adored friend to many.

Karen grew up in AnHui QingYang, China. In 1993, she moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her husband, Jack. Together, they had two beautiful children, Joyce and Alan. Karen received her Master's Degree in Computer Science from Marquette University in 1995.  She has had a long and successful career as a software engineer with Wells Fargo. Karen cherished the time she spent with family and friends, enjoyed nightly walks around her neighborhood with her loving husband and her dog, Schnapps, and dedicated much of her time to creating and nurturing her large garden. She will forever be remembered by her beautiful singing, infectious laugh, deep sense of care and compassion for others, and sincere love for life. Karen was a true blessing in all our lives, and she will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at the Becker Ritter Funeral Home, 14705 W. North Ave, Brookfield, WI, from 10:00 AM until the Celebration of her life at 11:30 AM.
