June 19, 1925, entered the kingdom of Heaven joining his beloved wife surrounded by the love of his family on July 13, 2017. Arthur died unexpectedly. He will leave us with many happy and treasured memories. Arthur was dearly loved by his children Mary (Mike), Bill (Clare), Cassie (Mark), Bob (Maureen) and Margaret. He was the was proud grandpa of: David, Nellie (Andrew), Alysa (Ben), Tom (Kassie), Andy, Bill (Jessica), Emily (Tom), Holly (Johnny), Dan, Chelsea, Oliver, Sean, Will, Maggie, Lucy, Michelle, Duncan, Robert, Grace, and Isabelle. Proud great grandpa of Archer, Alden and Stella.
Art was an accomplished businessman and a true gentleman. He had goodness of character, integrity, honesty, kindness and his word was gold. He began his 60 year real estate career building garages, evolving into building and developing residential and commercial properties.
Arthur was an avid golfer, gardener, and artist. He was a self-taught and masterful water- colorist. He was a devout Catholic attending adoration chapel weekly for the last 15 years. He was dedicated to the Blessed Mother. Arthur was an enthusiastic Brewer, Packer and Badger fan. He had a lifelong love of reading, learning and philanthropic causes. Arthur’s love of life, family and friends will be forever with us.
Please join us in celebrating Art’s memory at the Funeral Home on July 29, 2017 from 10 to 11:30 AM, followed by a procession to St. Mary Visitation Parish for the 12 PM Mass of Christian Burial. Followed by graveside services at St. Mary Cemetery.
A special gratitude to the NICU staff at Froedtert Hospital for their excellent care and loving support. With love we offer a heart- felt thank you to Meg Who brought peace, joy and comfort to our lives.
